The artist-duo Åsa Lie and Jadran Sturm collaborated from 1987 until 2016 when the Jadran Sturm & Åsa Lie Private Foundation was created. They continued working individually, cooperating in duo and group exhibitions. The foundation aims at preserving and displaying their body of work.

Raised in Jugoslavia and Italy. Lived in Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Italy and Greece. Permanent resident of Belgium since 1995.
